Flooring

Our flooring is ¾" solid tongue & groove planking made for interior floor applications. Planks are end-matched for superior installation and appearance, and milled with a square edge. Our planks are 2 ¼", 3 ¼" and 4 ¼" face width (except for the pine, see below).  Other widths are available.  Plank widths of 5" to 8" and custom lengths and widths are available in most species for an additional charge.

SOLID WOOD FLOORING

Tongue & groove * End matched * ¾” thick * Unfinished

All prices are for actual square footage of coverage.  You get the same amount of lineal footage of 2 ¼”, 3 ¼” & 4 ¼” wide flooring for a beautiful pattern.  Floors of all one width are available for a nominal up charge depending on the species.  Floors are available in either elite or rustic grade.  The rustic grade contains heavy figuring, character marks and tight knots.  Elite grade is mostly clear of knots and other imperfections.  We also offer color sorting on some species.  See store for details.

All of our flooring is milled at our Presque Isle location.  You will receive random widths, of 2¼”, 3¼” & 4¼”.  Lengths will be between 24 inches & 8 feet.

 

Grades of most species are available in both rustic and elite.  Rustic flooring will contain tight knots and numerous character marks.  Elite flooring will be clear of most knots and other imperfections.

 

We end match all of our flooring with a tongue and groove cut on the ends of each piece as well as on both sides.  This makes for an easier install & accurate fit between boards.
